A SPODE COMPOSITE BAT-PRINTED PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE variously printed with buildings, ruins and figures in rustic landscape vignettes and gilt with foliate bands beneath gilt rims, comprising an oviform coffee-pot and cover with faceted spout and artichoke finial (finial restuck and chips and related crack to rim of spout), an oval two-handled sugar-bowl and cover, an oval milkjug, five teacups, fifteen coffee-cans, fifteen saucers, pattern no. 557; a bat-printed coffee-can and saucer with gilt dentil rims, pattern no. 1922; and a bat-printed trio, the borders gilt with anthemion beneath gilt rims, circa 1810 (some rubbing to gilt rims)
