Serial no. 15775, .54 caliber. 21 inch barrel marked Sharps Rifle/Manufg Co./Hartford, Conn. Ladder style rear sight. Standard long sling bar. Stock with checkered wrist. Brass furniture. Condition: Very good. Bright metal has been cleaned at one time and shows some minor pitting. Sharp markings with slight wear to lockplate markings. Sight missing slide. Stock with a few deep marks, short hairline crack at the upper frame tang and cracked (with pinned repair) between the rear of lock and lower tang and between the lower tang and rear lock screw.
