A set of six George II silver salt cellars maker's mark of David Hennell London, 1756 Circular and on spreading circular foot, the underside of the bowls engraved with simulated strapwork, with corded borders and gilded bowls, each engraved with a crest, marked on bases, each numbered and engraved with scratchweight 'N1 6=3, N2 6=9, N3 6=6½, N4 6=6½, N5 6=7, N6 6=1' 3½in.
