A Russian Porcelain Plate from a Military Service, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, Period of Alexander II (1855-1881), dated 1875 the cavetto painted realistically with a scene of a group of officers of the 13th Vladimirskii and 14th Yamburgskii regiments of the Uhlans Brigades in parade uniforms stopped in conversation, two of them on foot and four on horseback, the lilac/lavender border with gilded ribbon-tied laurel and oak wreath, the branches divided by the Russian Imperial State Seal of a black double-headed eagle on a yellow ground. the reverse titled in Cyrillic Uhlans Brigades: E.N. [sic] V. Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolaevich's 13th Vladimirskii and His Royal Highness Prince Friedrich Wurttemburg's 14th Yamburgskii, from a painting by Piratskii, signed V.
