A REGENCY MAHOGANY, EBONY AND EBONISED SIDEBOARD The eared rectangular breakfront top with a pierced-brass gallery to the reverse with a central anthemion crested arch flanked by a pair of lyres on paw and Greek-key supports, flanked by further ring-turned baluster supports headed by anthemions and with scrolling ends terminating in flowerheads, above a panelled frieze with a central geometric tablet flanked by a pair of mahogany-lined drawers, flanked on the right by a deep drawer simulated as two drawers, the lock stamped 'PATENT' below a crown and on the left by a lead-lined fitted celaret drawer simulated as two drawers, the lock conformingly stamped, on square tapering panelled legs headed by Ionic capitals and further panels, with square tapering feet, the right-hand deep drawer previously lead-lined, with additional strengthening wood to the reverse, restorations 126 in. (320.5 cm.) wide; 36¾ in. (93 cm.) high, excluding gallery; 35½ in. (90.5 cm.) deep
