A rectangular two-tiered lacquer box and cover decorated in gold and red takamakie, kirikane and kimpun with pheasants by a blossoming cherry tree by a river, nashiji interior (minor cracks, old wear) -- 4in.long; a fundame-ground kidney-shaped gold lacquer box and cover decorated with bamboo and peony -- 3¾in.wide; a square nashiji-ground lacquer box decorated in hiramakie with a mon, the sides with clematis (wear, chips) -- 2¼in.wide, 18th century ; and a small shakudo box with hinged cover decorated in gold and silver hirazogan with a boat sailing before Mount Fuji -- 2¼in.wide, signed Kyoto Kuroda koku.
