A RARE SILVER-INLAID BRONZE FIGURE OF A SEATED GUANYIN 17TH/18TH CENTURY The Goddess is shown seated in rajalilasana holding a separately made scroll in the left hand. Her robes, which fall gracefully around her body, are inlaid in silver wire with clouds and scroll borders and on the back with a Shisou mark. Tiny silver beads center the necklace and form the urna below her hair, which is gathered in a topknot secured by a carnelian agate 'hair pin'. 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) high
