A Rare Pale-Green Jade Chilong Scabbard Slide, the chilong body is attached to the plate with tail, legs and head, the twisted tail is partly extending over the edge, utilizing the russet natural markings in the stone, late Eastern Zhou Dynasty (1028-221 BC), length 13 cm NOTE: Scabbard slides with a free standing dragon are very rare but have been found in the tombs of Nan Yue at Canton and of Liu Sheng in Hebei province. This chilong scabbard slide has calcified engravings and there is some earth encrustation.
