With sighted rounded barrel with New York address along the top flat at the breech, cylinder with roll engraved Texas Ranger and Indian scene, and etched 'Model U.S. M.R.' and 'Colt's Patent', each framed within foliage, case-hardened frame stamped 'Colt's Patent' on the left side, rammer, brass trigger-guard and back-strap (originally silvered), varnished figured rounded grips (the left one with minor chip), matching numbers and some original case-hardened finish: in original fitted oak case lined in blue velvet with accessories including James Dixon & Sons flask (minor dent) retaining much of its original lacquered finish, and brass bullet mould stamped 'Colt's Patent', the interior of the lid with Directions for Loading and Cleaning (some damage), the exterior with vacant circular brass escutcheon, London proof marks 19 cm. barrel
