Beschreibung:

With octagonal barrels retaining much of their original blueing, the upper barrel signed in gold between decorative gold marks and with silver fore-sight, the breech with engraved gold clouds in front of a gold line, the lower barrel engraved in script with the address and with two gold lines, platinum-lined touch-holes, tang with back-sight and engraved case-hardened locks each decorated with a starburst behind the semi-rainproof pan and with foliage at the stepped tail, safety-catches, foliate engraved 'French' cocks, and blued external mainsprings each with roller, chequered figured rounded butt, silver D-shaped trigger-guard decorated with a martial trophy and foliage on the border engraved bow, spurred pommel decorated with baskets of foliage en suite within a border of ropework, vacant gold pommel-cap, small vacant gold escutcheon, original steel ramrod with characteristically chequered tip, and some original finish 8.2 cm. barrels
