(Photographica, 28th October 2020) A Rare 1930s Mandel PDQ Model H Street or Beach Photographer's Camera A Rare 1930s Mandel PDQ Model H Street or Beach Photographer's Camera With a Wirgin 10.5cm f4.5 lens in a Kodak shutter and the original 2-piece developing tank. The camera produces 'Pretty Damn Quick' pictures on a continious roll of direct-positive photographic paper held in a simple, cardboard casette. Turning the chrome side lever operates a roller, moving the exposed paper down and pulling the black knob cut it to the required length by means of a bult-in blade. The paper then dorps into the developing tank, the whole operation from shutter release to finished print being ready only taking a few minutes. (BW).
