Fences with floral trefoils in relief. Watertable marked Optimus. Gold plated checkered double triggers and cocking indicators. Lefever features including compensating action, selective safety and adjustable trigger-pull. Finely checkered half-pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut. Arrowhead shaped horn inlays with two ivory insets behind sideplates. Horn gripcap. Vacant gold shield. One inch multi-layer Jostam recoil pad. Finely checkered pull-off splinter fore-end with a gold dog's head inlayed on the escutcheon. Sculpted horn fore-end tip. Stock and fore-end show well defined checkering. Recoil pad shows wear. Case in Fine condition, as redone. Exterior has been re-varnished. Handle is detached. Handle mounts have been damaged.
