A quantity of assorted motoring books, relating to various motoring subjects including G.N.Georgano: The Complete Encyclopedia of Motorcars 1885 to the Present; David Burgess-Wise, William Boddy & Brian Laban: The Automobile - The First Century; Adriano Cimarosti: The Complete History of Grand Prix Motor Racing; BRDC Silverstone Fifty Golden Years, limited edition (515/1500), in slip-case; BRDC Silver, Golden and Diamond Jubilee Books; Automobile Connoisseur 1-5; (Qty)FootnotesLots 1-41 are from The Motoring Library and Estate of the Late Brian K.Joscelyne (1934-2020). Brian K. Joscelyne (1934-2020), a Surveyor by trade, had a keen interest in motoring and motor racing from an early age. Influenced by his father, Lewis Hamilton Joscelyne, who had bought him an Aston Martin 15/98 at aged 20 in 1954, he has been a long-standing member and contributor of the Aston Martin Owners Club. Brian raced, amongst other cars, a DB3 and a DB3S at AMOC and other events, during the 1960s and 1970s, winning the Arthur Bryant Trophy in 1960 and 1961, and also competed at Le Mans. Although Brian had accomplished many skills and much experience during his motoring life, including car mechanic, race team manager and owner, and amateur racing driver, his forte was motoring photography. Although not professionally trained, his high-level enthusiasm was evident in the quality of his images, taken at many competitive events and races from the 1950s to 1970s across the UK and Europe, his Pentax and Voigtlander cameras always at his side. Brian's photographic work has been very much admired and respected and has been reproduced in various motoring publications.
