Broad, curved 32 inch fullered blade, the spine marked at the hilt 345 and dated 1831. Iron 'Blucher' stirrup hilt, the guard marked 345N; ribbed, leather-covered grip. Iron two-ring scabbard, the upper suspension mount numbered to the sword; regimental markings 3.R.6.111.L.R.Vo.8. below the throat. Condition: Sword with smooth grey metal showing some very minor pitting; grip lightly scuffed and missing the wire wrap. Scabbard with some scattered pitting and light dents. See Illustration
