a planked and rigged display model of the royal yacht Caroline (1749) With bound masts, yards with foot ropes, standing and running rigging, figurehead in form of a crowned female, holding a sceptre, hair rails, anchors with bound wooden stocks, catheads with sheaves, bitts, belaying rails and pins, deckrings, ship's bell and canopy, stove pipe, gratings, upper deck guns in carriages and barge, companionways, capstan, glazed saloon with doors and windows, water barrel, tiller, deck light and stern lanterns. The hull finished in white to the waterline with black whales, green and natural wood with Venetion red bulwarks and extensive stern and external gilded decoration in the form of animals fishes, male and female figures and flowers, mounted on two turned brass and columns in a mahogany framed and glazed cover 157.5 x 101.5cm.
