A PAIR OF TURQUOISE-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS TONGZHI EARLY GUANGXU PERIOD (1862-1908) Each with rounded sides rising to slightly flared rims, decorated in the famille rose palette with a bird perched on a wisteria branch, rising above herbaceous blossoming roses growing around the sides, inscribed in iron-red below the mouth rim with the characters, Dayazhai , beside the Tian Di Yi Jia Chun sealmark, all reserved on opaque turquoise-ground, the interior with a transparent glaze, further embellished with a narrow gilt band encircling the mouth rim and repeated above the ring foot, the base bearing the characters, Yong Qing Chang Chun in iron-red 4 7/8 in.
