A PAIR OF SMALL BLUE AND WHITE MING-STYLE DISHES UNDERGLAZE BLUE YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS WITHIN DOUBLE-CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-35) The rounded sides rising from a short slightly tapering foot, the interior painted in dark blue and paler shades of cobalt blue with areas of 'heaping and piling' with a lotus scroll surrounding a central bloom, the cavetto with a continuous composite floral meander surrounded by a classic scroll to the rim, the exterior with a similar floral meander below a key-fret band to the rim 5½ in.
