A PAIR OF ROYAL WORCESTER PARIAN FIGURES OF MORNING DEW AND EVENING DEW after models attributed to Jean Jacques Pradier , the figures partially glazed and modelled as nymphs wearing loose flowing robes edged with pink and lilac stripes, pouring water from slender amphorae enriched with gilt and iron-red flutes and key-pattern, the graceful figures supported on clusters of reeds and grasses emerging from rocky mounds, on waisted circular bases edged in iron-red and gilding (one restored through lower legs, feet, drapery, reeds and mound, the other with restoration to extended left hand and wrist, both with slight wear to gilding), impressed marks, circa 1860 16½in.
