A pair of lacquered and inlaid Japanese ivory tusk sections Meiji Period each inlaid in mother-of-pearl, stained ivory and horn, silver and gilt hiramakie and takamakie with immortals wearing long robes to one side, the reverse with birds amongst various flowers, trees and reeds issuing from rockwork, on wood bases with gilt decoration -- 11 5/8in. (29.5cm.) high, (pieces missing and re-stuck). See Illustration. (2)
