A pair of Knoll ''Barcelona'' chairs Print Third quarter 20th century Each with Knoll Associates cushion tag Designed 1929 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe comprising two lounge chairs with rectangular tufted gray leather foam-filled cushions supported by conforming leather straps stretched over a chrome-plated steel X-form frame Each: 31" H x 30" W x 30.5" D Provenance: Property from the Estate of Lee Vandervelde, Beverly Hills, CA; sold to benefit charities. Condition: Overall good condition with scattered light scuffs and scratches to frames. Scattered drying and cracking to leather straps. One snap closure missing. One strap detached from the bottom. Each with scattered spots and streaks of blue and red paint.
