A PAIR OF FINELY ENAMELED FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949) Each bowl has deep rounded sides that flare slightly towards the rim, and is finely decorated on one side with stems of tree peony bearing variously colored blossoms growing amidst asters and spreading above and to the sides of a blue rock below two insects in flight. On the reverse is an inscription in black preceded by a rectangular red seal and followed by two red seals. An apocryphal Yongzheng mark is on the base. 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diam. (2)
