A PAIR OF EMERALD AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
A PAIR OF EMERALD AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS Each set with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 25.38 and 23.12 carats, surmounted by a cushion-shaped diamond weighing 3.04 and 3.04 carats, mounted in platinum, 3.6 cm long Accompanied by report no. 11085149/1 and 2 dated 2 September 2011 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 25.38 and 23.12 carat emeralds are of Colombia origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement; accompanied by an appendix stating that the 25.38 and 23.12 carat natural emeralds possess a saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with an exceptional degree of transparency. In addition the pleasant shape and finely proportioned cut generates many vivid, internal colour reflections which compliment their beautiful appearance. Matched pairs of Colombian emeralds of this size and possessing such a high quality with a complete absence of any clarity enhancement are very rare, making the "Estrellas de Colombia" an outstanding pair of Colombian emeralds Also accompanied by report no. CS 45090 A and B dated 23 August 2011 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that based on available gemological information, it is the opinion of the Laboratory that the emeralds weighing 25.38 and 23.12 carat is natural, the origin of this material would be classified as Classic Colombia, clarity enhancement: none; accompanied by an appendix stating that the 25.38 and 23.12 carat emeralds are singularly distinguished and together make a pair of unique rarity. Both emeralds exhibit an intense and saturated green color that is representative of top-quality stones from this auspicious source. These outstanding emeralds also possess a high clarity and superior degree of transparency. Augmenting the importance of these attributes is the fact that these emeralds have not been clarity enhanced to improve their appearance.
