Percussion Shotguns By Prelat à Paris, Nos. 1175 and 1176, circa 1830 With rebrowned twist sighted barrels numbered '1' and '2' and signed in gold on the rib, engraved serial numbered patent breeches each with pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved tangs and locks, the latter signed in gold, bird's eye maple half-stocks (one with minor repair to fore-end), chequered grips (chequering worn), scroll engraved iron mounts including numbered trigger-guards, iron sling mounts, and original brass-tipped ramrods each with worm (one barrel-bolt and one trigger-guard screw each a working replacement), barrelsmith's mark NB crowned, probably for Nicolas Bernard of Paris 27in.
