A noble and his mistress , probably a ragamala illustration, gouache heightened with gold on paper, the noble sits in a small pavillion with his mistress before him, a female attendant approaches with refreshments by a cypress tree outside, orange border with white margin between red rules, Sirohi, late 17th century - 8 x 6in. (20.7 x 15.6cm.); a pair of lovers , on a terrace, Kangra, circa 1830 - 9½ x 6in. (24.2 x 15.3cm.); an ascetic and attendant , ink heightened with gold and colour, framed and glazed - 10 x 6¾in. (25.5 x 17.3cm.); two Persian style miniatures , showing a couple and a court scene - larger 13¾ x 8½in. (35 x 21.6cm.) (5)
