A noble and his mistress , probably a ragamala illustration, gouache heightened with gold on paper, in a small pavillion the noble sits with his mistress before him, a female attendant approaches by a cypress tree outside with refreshments, white margin between red rules, orange border, Sirohi, late 17th century - 8 x 6in. (20.7 x 15.6cm.); a pair of lovers , on a terrace by a pavillion, blue border with white rules, (flaking), Kangra, first half 19th century - 9½ x 6in. (24.2 x 15.3cm.); an ascetic and attendant , ink heightened with gold and colour, the ascetic sits by a tree as the attendant offers him fruit, blue and beige borders, on with inscription cartouche panels, between gold and coloured rules, framed and glazed, probably 17th century - 10 x 6¾in. (25.5 x 17.3cm.); two Persian style miniatures , one showing a couple, the other a court scene, both India, 19th century - larger 13¾ x 8½in. (35 x 21.6cm.) (5)
