The Remington Model 1875 single action revolver was Remington's answer to the Colt Single Action Army. produced from 1875 to 1889. Standard features include full factory nickel finish, six shot, single action, two piece walnut grips and blade front sight. Serial number is stamped on grip frame under grips. "44" is stamped on left rear trigger guard. Sharp barrel address on top. Approximately 25,000 manufactured. This gun remains in beautiful original condition. Retains approximately 90% original factory nickel, thinning at muzzle which blends perfectly with the nickel. Left side of the frame has nickel wear at rear cylinder shield. Minor scratches on left side above trigger guard. Grips are excellent with 80% original finish with most wear around high edges. Cylinder retains approximately 90% nickel. Whatever is not nickel on this gun is a dull grey blending perfectly. Screws still show some fire blue. Top screw is slightly marred. Strong bore and perfect action.
