Originally published in 1677, Howes writes: "A corner-stone authority on the subject. Map in original edition was the first American map made in this country" - Howes H756; Sabin 33448. Lot Amendments Condition: Corners a bit bumped; some darkening and occasional foxing to contents, faint staining to verso of last text page, gift inscription on the front pastedown from the late 1800's; about very good.
