A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU-MOUNTED KINGWOOD AND TULIPWOOD BREAKFRONT SIDE-CABINET IN THE RÉGENCE STYLE, BY ESCALIER DE CRISTAL, PARIS, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY The spreading pediment centred to the front by a bearded mask, above a pair of cupboard doors with female heads and lion paws to the angles, the lockplate engraved ESCALIER DE CRISTAL PARIS , flanked to each side by a panelled door, each lockplate stamped FICHET A PARIS under a coronet and numbered 46463 and 46464 , the interior of each cupboard with two adjustable shelves, on square tapering feet 71¼ in. (181 cm.) high; 75½ in. (192 cm.) wide; 19 in. (48.5 cm.) deep
