A miscellaneous group of artefacts and fragments, including Palaeolithic flint cores and flakes, 6.5 cm max length; a collection of Mesopotamian pottery fragments with umber decoration, 5.9 cm x 6.8 cm maximum; a fragmentary Old Babylonian model bed fragment; two fragmentary and worn Old Babylonian cuneiform tablets, 7.2 cm x 4 cm max; Babylonian baked clay glazed tile fragments, including one with traces of the original floral design, 10.2 cm x 12.6 cm, another with yellow and white glaze, possibly representing the mane of a lion, 10 cm x 7.8 cm, a group of hollow and solid terracotta nails; some with glazed flat heads, 14.7 cm max; alabaster vessel fragments, fragments of limestone, a frit seal, spindle whorl, loom and kiln items, multiple vessel fragments, a carnelian bead, spacer bead, a small marble hand fragment, Greek, Roman and Islamic pottery fragments, an Islmaic glass molar flask, 5.9 cm high, glass fragments, copper alloy fragments and arrowheads, tesserae, and other miscellaneous items, circa 5,000 B.C. – Islamic Period; other miscellaneous decorative terracotta statues, plaques, vessels, seals, and a marble cylindrical engraved carving; and a selection of pamphlets relating to Bagdad, Mosul, Babylon, Ninevah and other subjects, with catalogues, maps, photographs and other personal correspondence (a lot)
