Kändler , as a gallant, a lady and a boy about a cherry tree gathering cherries from a boy balanced in the tree picking the fruit, in coloured and flowered clothes, the gallant seated with a tricorn hat under his right arm and holding a cherry in his left hand before a wicker-basket of fruit, she standing holding out her fruit- filled apron, the boy seated behind eating cherries from his hat, on a scroll-moulded mound base applied with flowers and foliage and enriched in gilding (the base broken in half and restuck, the seated boy with one leg restuck, handle of wicker-basket and extremities and leaves of tree lacking, some chipping to extremities) 11½in.
