A Luba janiform figure fragmentary below the waist, the two adorsed figures of similar form, with two sets of opposing arms and hands to the hips, small pendant breasts and the thick neck leading to serene faces with pursed lips, refined noses and large, downcast eyes framed by delicately arched brows and sloped foreheads with a magic bundle at the crown for insertion; '110' on the back of the foot and an old label 'H 357 Luba' on the underside; varied, blackened and resinous patina. height 13in. 33cm
