Lot consists of: (A) Springfield 1873 Carbine made from a rifle. Blued breechblock dated 1873 with case hardened lock marked U.S. Springfield. Correct "C" marked rear sight. Two piece triggerguard. Walnut wood stock with compartment in butt. No visible inspectors marks. CONDITION: Reblued barrel and breechblock with recased lock and triggerguard. Wood has been sanded and refinished with crack near end of forearm. Good mechanics and bore. (B) 1833 Hall percussion carbine dated 1846 on chamber with "US North Midln. Conn 1846" marking on breech block. Lifter bar type action with slide ring bar. Round smoothbore barrel with blade sight and rear notch. Steel ramrod. Walnut wood stock with two bands and iron hardware. CONDITION: Gun has been partially restored with some metal parts recase colored. Wood has heavy usage marks and has been cleaned. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (C) Gallager Carbine made by Richardson and Overman Philadelphia with around 18000 built. Blued sliding action rifled barrel with case hardened lever operation. Case hardened action with Gallager patents and Richardson and Overman manufacturer mark. Blade front sight and flip rear sight. Walnut wood stock with iron hardware. CONDITION: Overall aged patina with metal parts turning silver. Cracked stock with traces of varnish. Good bore and mechanics.
