(A) Whitney Kennedy Lever Action Repeating rifle with 24" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, buckhorn rear sight, and blade front. Chambered in .44-40 with six groove rifling. Plain walnut stock and forearm with forearm cap and rifle buttplate with trap-door inside. CONDITION: Good to very good with metal parts fading to a gray-brown patina with scattered handling marks. Stock and forearm are good and have been lightly sanded with dents and dings from use. Cracks at right and center of forearm near cap and very minor crack at lower tang. Large chip at left side of upper tang at wrist. Action works correctly. Bore is dark with visible rifling. (B) Marlin Model 1893 Lever-Action Rifle with 26" half octagon to round barrel with full length magazine tube, buckhorn rear sight, and blade front sight chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on top-let barrel flat. Plain, straight grain walnut stock and forearm with rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good overall with blued parts turning to a mottled blue gray patina with scattered handling and usage marks. Receiver has faded to a mottled gray patina. Stock and forearm are very good as refinished with dents, dings, and gouges from use but remains strong with no discernible cracks or chips. Action works correctly but bolt does contact hammer causing a bit of a rough feel when cycling action. Bore is worn with visible rifling. -TN- Item Dimensions: L: 44 - 1/2".
