(A) LOT OF 2: RELIC COLT 1860 ARMY AND 1861 NAVY PERCUSSION REVOLVERS.

Lot consists of (A) Excavated Colt Model 1860 Army cut for shoulder stock serial number "88601" and marked with "D" inspector's marks made 1863 and recovered at unknown date and location. 7 - 1/2" round barrel with stepped 6 shot cylinder with 5 cylinders loaded and caps still on nipples. Brass trigger guard. CONDITION: As found with heavy pitting and stuck mechanics. Missing grips and mainspring. (B) Excavated Colt Model 1861 Navy revolver serial number "18989" made in 1864 and recovered at unknown location and date. Round 7 - 1/2" barrel with empty 6 shot flat sided cylinder with revolver at half cock. Brass trigger guard with what could be a saber cut on the guard. Partial remnants of walnut grip. CONDITION: As found condition with stuck mechanics trigger partially rusted away with grips partially remaining. A neat gun to examine and ponder why the trigger has that damage!
