Lot details Thailand, 14th-16th century. Cast with thin and elongated fingers neatly detailed with nails and creases, held in the abhaya mudra, and extending to a slender wrist decorated with a draped sleeve. The bronze with a naturally grown patina with areas of malachite encrustations. Provenance: From a private collection in Vienna, Austria. Condition: Good condition with wear commensurate with age and casting irregularities. Soil encrustation, weathering, and obvious losses. Presenting well. Weight: 1,253.3 g (incl. stand) Dimensions: Height 23 cm (excl. stand), 27 cm (incl. stand) Firmly mounted on a wooden stand.
