A late Victorian silver pen box with an S Morden & Co pen and propelling pencil. Comprising a silver box with spot hammered decoration to the exterior, the hinged cover with a vacant central cartouche opening to reveal two wooden compartments housing a white metal matching S. Morden & Co quill pen and propelling pencil both of cylindrical form with spot hammered decoration. Mark of William Comyns & Sons, London 1900 to the box with 'Streeter & Co Ltd, 18 New Bond Street' inscribed beneath. Box: 1.7 in (4.3 cm) height, 9.1 in (23.1 cm) width, 2.1 in (5.3 cm) depth. Quill: 6.8 in (17.2 cm). Pencil: 6.1 in (15.4 cm).
