A large Viennese Renaissance style silver-gilt and enamelled lidded tankard By Karl Rössler, Circa 1895 Of cylindrical tapering form, decorated throughout with oval panels depicting mythological scenes, on a foliate ground with animals and masks, the hinged domed lid surmounted by a hunter with quarry and hound, with scrolled caryatid handle, the lid, lower body and foot with raised foliate and mask band, stamped twice with KR , and twice with W 17¾in. (45cm.) high
