A large French Louis XIV-style gilt bronze mantel clock, mid 19th century 23.5-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Le Nepveu A Paris, foliate pierced and engraved gilt hands, re-used similarly signed movement converted to anchor escapement with numbered countwheel striking on a bell, gilt bronze case with a pierced cuppola top surmounted by an oil lamp-shaped finial, arched sides with pierced lyre medaillons, shaped base raised on fluted and tapered feet height 70cm
