No. 36794, playing patriotic and traditional airs (Gamme No. 1748), single-spring motor wound by period ratchet key, plain brass bedplate in red stained interior with dust lid, fragment of tunesheet (loose, mounted on card) and veneered lid interior, in formally grained case, now with walnut veneers to all sides including end-flap (worm), the squared rosewood veneered lid with large central square inlaid frame of ebony and musical instrument ensemble within (losses), rectangular field of kingwood, fruitwood stringing and crossbanding enhanced by red enamel infills and faux lapis-lazuli medallions, (all dampers defective, pinning in need of attention) - 21.3/4in. (55.2cm) wide, the cylinder 13.3/16in. (33.5cm), the diameter 3.1/8in. (8cm)
