Phillips on title and bookplate of his descendant A.P. de Lisle, Garendon Park, bought from him by Maggs in 1944 and with their cost code at the end, contemporary calf, rather roughly rebacked, 1704; Memoirs of ****, Commonly Known by the Name of George Psalmanazar, portrait, characteristic pencil collation note at end of I.O. Montanana (1915-98, runner), a particularly attractive copy in contemporary calf, 1764, FIRST EDITIONS; and 4 others, including a second copy of the second item, a French translation, and Lionel Johnson's copy of the Dublin edition of 1765, 8vo (6)
