Potts, Newcastle, Jan'y 2 1858, the mug engraved with the same vessel passing beneath the Iron Bridge and captioned 'Gosforth - Sunderland Bridge' flanked by hops and barley, the large goblet engraved with a cartouche captioned J MA. Potts with a basket of fruit, national emblems and fruiting vine, decanter 33cm high, [flake chip to foot of large goblet].
