A group of nine Chinese jade and hardstone carvings, circa Republican Period, comprising: an emerald green and celadon jade figure of a lady, the figure 16cm high, overall height with carved wood base 24cm; an emerald green and celadon jade group of a lady and children, 12cm long x 8cm high, overall height with fitted and carved wood base 10cm; a mottled green jade 'quail' censer and cover, approximately 15cm wide x 7.5cm high, overall height with fitted and carved wood base 15cm; a pair of spinach jade exotic birds, overall height with wood stands 18cm; two hardstone rabbits, 6cm high and overall height with fitted and carved wood bases 8cm; a hardstone cockerel, 10cm high including wood stand and a jade mottled white green and lavender carved 'duck' bowl and a cover, 8.5cm wide x 6cm high, overall height with wood stand 8cm high (9) Provenance: From a private Cheshire Collection formed in the mid-20th century 各式翡翠雕人物等一组九件 拍品来源:英国Cheshire郡私人女士收藏,购自上世纪中叶 Condition Report: the emerald green and celadon jade figure of a lady glued to base so unexamined off base and chip to two figures of right hand and unknown if emerald green natural or later treated the emerald green and celadon jade group of a lady and children with small chip to tip of one leaf and unknown if emerald green natural or later treated 'quail' censer and cover generally good with perhaps a very very minor chips and wood stand with 5mm chip to tip of one foot and cracks and minor repairs the pair of spinach jade exotic birds generally good but glued to bases and with one small chip to edge of tail to one and stands each with a drill hole rabbits seem good but one glued to wood base cockerel with chips to beak and tail feathers and glued to wood base duck bowl with possibly unmatched cover and unknown if emerald green and lavender natural or later treated glued to wood base and base of bowl Condition Report Disclaimer
