A GROUP OF MAINLY CYPRIOT POTTERY VESSELS 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER Including a Cypriot White Slip Ware 'milk' bowl with wishbone handle, the brown painted decoration consisting of a latticed band around the rim, similar suspended vertical bands and short lines of dots, 7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) diam.; a Cypro-Mycenaean stirrup jar, the rounded body with false neck flanked by twin handles, the shoulder with side spout and orange painted groups of chevrons, encircling bands below, on circular base, side spout damaged, 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) high, both Late Bronze Age, 1650-1200 B.C.; two Red-on-Black Ware deep bowls with small twin loop handles, the bodies tapering to small ring foot, decorated with black encircling bands, one with pair of concentric circles on each side, 6½ in. (16.4 cm.) and 7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) diam. respectively; a White Painted Ware skyphos with convex sides and short vertical rim, twin loop handles, decorated on each side with three groups of dark brown painted wavy vertical lines, encircling bands above and below, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) diam., all Cypro-Archaic, 600-475 B.C.; an Incised Red Polished Ware jug with round spout and spherical body, decorated with projecting knobs around the body and incised linear decoration, 7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) high; a White Painted Ware flask, the lentoid body with short spout and single ring handle, with black painted registers of vertical bands, 5¼ in. (13.4 cm.) high, both Middle Bronze Age, 1900-1650 B.C.; and a group of mainly plain ware vessels, 1st millennium B.C. to Roman period, some with repair (16)
