A GROUP OF JEWELLERY AND OBJECTS Comprising: an early 19th century gold mounted coral corallium brooch, the central domed rectangular coral with central carved stylised flower head with leaf border within three colour gold engraved leaf design border, the reverse with glazed locket back circa 1830, with attached manuscript label reading, Brooch belonging to Mrs Jackson, mother of S.F.W. given by him to Mrs Ward nurse, on his mother's death, Mrs Ward returned it to B.F.W. 1919; an early 19th century gold and silver mounted old brilliant-cut diamond buckle circa 1820; an Indian gold and Jaipor enamel chess piece modelled as a horse with polychrome enamel, rose cut diamond, cabochon emerald and ruby caparison and translucent enamel body standing on a matching oval plinth with engraved decoration; a 19th century agate cameo stickpin carved as a classical mask; an early 19th century carved lava cameo ring comprising a row of vari-toned cameos each depicting a classical bust; a late 19th century Austro-Hungarian gem, silver-gilt and enamel figure of an owl with cabochon sapphire and and ruby wings the head with gem-set eyes the body decorated with translucent enamel and engraved detail standing on a matching plinth; a late 19th century Austro-Hungarian gem and enamel pendant of St George and the dragon decorated with two closed-set rubies a single emerald, the dragon with articulated wings; three micro mosaic plaques each depicting a beetle; an un-mounted glass intaglio; and an Islamic ring, probably Persian.
