Comprising a late 17th-century English knife with curved single-edged blade struck with an indistinct cutler's mark on one side and with rounded point, tapering ivory grip (split) of circular section inlaid with silver foliage and pointillé fruit coloured in faded pigments of red and green, and silver cap engraved with owner's monogram; a fork with three sharply-pointed tines and gilt writhen stem with turned moulding beneath a silver collar, and bone grip of tapering circular section stained with a brown seaweed pattern; another fork with two tines, the grip faced in bone; and ten other items of cutlery including six various knives all in excavated condition; the bolt- and arrow-heads mostly of iron and brass and in excavated condition (a lot) The first 19.8 cm.
