A group of eleven various Chinese snuff bottles, Qing Dynasty, comprising: a 'robin's egg' glazed cylindrical bottle, 8.5cm high; a rock crystal bottle carved with 'treasures', 6.2cm high; a semi-translucent blue agate snuff bottle and cover, 8.5cm high; a glass bottle imitating amber, 6.2cm high; four glass overlay bottles, between 6.5cm and 5.5cm high; a red glass bottle, 5cm high; a rose quartz snuff bottle, 6cm high; a blue glass bottle, 5.2cm high, six with Radcliffe labels (11) Major Edward Copleston Radcliffe (1898-1967) collection and by family descent. The three hardstone snuff bottles listed in the family archive as 'M 3,4,5' as purchased Bluett & Sons in 1945 for £11-0s-0d. The blue agate bottle listed in the Bluett archive as sold for £7.10.0, and the same amount for the rose quartz bottle, on January 16th 1945.
