A GROUP OF EGYPTIAN GLAZED COMPOSITION ITEMS DYNASTY XVIII (1550-1295 B.C.) TO ROMAN PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C. Comprising a large turquoise glazed eight-petalled rosette tile with floral standards(?), repaired, 8 in. (20.4 cm.) diam.; the upper part of a turquoise glazed figure of falcon-headed Re-Horakhty with sun disc, wig and details in dark blue, mounted, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high; a fragmentary greenish-turquoise and yellow glazed upper part of Aphrodite Anadyomene, mounted, 17/8 in. (4.7 cm.) high; a turquoise glazed shabti with black tripartite wig; another holding implements and seed basket, with single column of hieroglyphs, feet missing, 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high max.; a fragmentary blue glazed hindquarters of a cat with black spots; a green glazed fragment from a lotus bowl with black petals; a green glazed steatite cosmetic box, 2½ in.
