Raised from a single sheet, the interior decorated with a wide band of scrolling gilt tendrils framed by two gilt bands of wave, another band of gilt wave beneath the lip, an inscription below the rim on the exterior derived from Aramaic which gives the weight of the silver as 210 drachms 9¾ in. (24.8 cm.) diam.; 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high; weight: 793g (25.5 oz.)
