N.Walkley, was killed in action at the Somme, on the 23rd of July 1916, aged 21, Son of Charles Ferguson Walkley and Clara Maud Walkley of 48, Wheelwright Road, Gravelly Hill, Birmingham, Private Walkley has no known grave, he is Remembered with Honour at The Thiepval Memorial A Great War Memorial Plaque to Private H. R. Cross, of the 12th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment, (Harry Ralph Cross)/15382 Private H. R. Cross, was killed in action at the Somme, on the 17th of October 1916, Private Cross has no known grave, he is Remembered with Honour at the Thiepval Memorial A Great War Memorial Plaque to Private A. J. Hignell of the 13th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, (Albert James Hignell) Private A. J.Hignell, fell on the 10th of January 1917, aged 27, Son of Mr & Mrs Hignell, of Birdett Road, Stonehouse, Glos., Private Hignell is buried and Remembered with Honour at Ferme-Olivier Cemetery, Ieper, Belguim.
