The scope of this model is breathtaking, with some hundreds of personnel and animals, mainly Britains and other hollowcast figures, repainted, with at least twenty large scratchbuilt Zoo buildings, including Bearpit, Monkey house with eleven galleried cages, Antelope house etc. etc. with quantities of railing, Britains park benches etc. and twenty similar scale tinplate Circus vehicles and animal trailers. Sadly it has seen better days, reminding the viewer of London Zoo before refurbishment, but the bearpit alone measures 59cm wide by 28cm deep by 15cm tall with steps to viewing gallery at both sides.
